03 · Where Ugla lives
Your personal data lives with your Ugla, not in a general Cloud account.
A private server sits behind the familiar app.
The iPhone and Android apps talk to your private Ugla server. That is where ordinary conversations, memory, files, and connected-service data live.

Let Ugla maintain your server.
The planned managed option keeps the same private setup while Ugla handles installation, updates, and routine maintenance.
04 · The AI service
The model is a tool Ugla can use, not the place your whole life has to live.
Your choice
Use your own service or a managed option when available.
A self-maintained Ugla can use the AI services you configure. A planned managed option will let Ugla pay for selected models for people who do not want to manage their own keys.
When you deliberately choose a model paid for by Ugla, only the text, images, and other material needed for that request pass through the managed service. The ordinary contents of your Ugla do not move with it.
Current status: Ugla is in active development. Public access, managed hosting, paid plans, and managed AI are not open yet.
